Remember Me...

"Gandhi said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant. But it's very important that you do it. I tend to agree with the first part."

"You once told me, our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch. Is that true for everybody, or is it just poetic bullshit?"

"If you could hear me, I would say that our finger prints don't fade from the lives we've touched."

"Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it's very important that you do it. Because nobody else will. Like when someone comes into your life and half of you says you're nowhere near ready, but the other half says: make her yours forever."

"I would say that by virtue of your not acting parental up to this
point, you've relinquished your ability to wield any power now."

~Grace from Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Sometimes I wish I could say that to my parents. Especially when they have ignored me for days even weeks at a time, and all of a sudden decide to "care." But like most of my thoughts, I keep those to myself..or at least filter them.
